Now you've now decided on MXP as your CMS tool of choice - good move!
Within our downloads you'll be able to locate the latest stable MXP release package ready for your to download and install to your website, remember at any step using MXP you can return to the site for support or to read up on the onsite MXP Manual to learn more about your chosen modules & blocks.
If you're a happy MXP user and want more from your MXP then all you have to do is look through the modules category to see what you can do today, remember that MXP Team written modules are available with the label of 'Official' and those created by MXP fans are labelled as 'Unofficial'.
This isn't to say that some code is better then others or anyone is better at module creation - its simply much clearer for the community to see whats released directly from the MXP Team and what the community has contributed, it can sometimes help you in the right direction should you want to begin writing code for your very own module. Share yourself MXP is an open source coding community, and you are urged to share your work with others, as we share our work with you. Please upload your own modules, translations and styles. Be sure to visit our MXP Internal Area.
 | The Core. This is the central part of MXP, on its own the MXP Core is an extremely powerful piece of software that will allow you to construct & present the most detailed websites. For more functionality you can plug modules into the core, each module comes with its own feature set and an integrated AdminCP that will auto-install itself within your normal MXP AdminCP.
| | MXP Modules. Themselves are individual plug-in pieces of software for MXP that not only provide greater functionality they make MXP easier to control and use. The MXP Core contains a number of official modules. Unofficial modules are also listed - these are fan-created and we recognise the skill involved, they are bug-tested and realeased for the community to use.
| | MXP recognises that many users do not speak only English; you'll find several language packs readily available for you to use, and if your prefered language isn't listed then let us know - we'll be happy to support and list it here. Using MXP yourself you may want to style it your own way - with a particular design or colour theme, and to help you there are lots of themes to choose from.
